This
is a story about a boy who wakes up in a strange, unfamiliar place
called Stone Mill.
Mado's adventure takes place in a magical
world created by Yoshitoshi ABe,
and is written as a sequel to his
brilliant masterpiece of anime, Haibane Renmei.
It
is strongly recommended that prospective readers watch the
entire
Haibane Renmei series before reading the story of
Mado.
Mado
of Stone Mill is a work in progress that is being published
scene
by scene on the Old
Home Bulletin Board (OHBB),
which is an
excellent resource that is highly recommended for fans
of
Haibane Renmei.

those who prefer not to read the story online, a copy of the Adobe

of Mado is available here. However, readers should be
